15,505 new cases found in the country in the last 24 hours; highest in west bengal

Corona cases are once again increasing in the country. In the last 24 hours, 15,505 new cases have been reported in the country. A day earlier this figure was 20,139, which was the highest since February.

On Thursday, 27 patients died of corona, while 12,739 patients were cured. After the arrival of new cases, the total positivity rate in the country has reached 5.10%.

The total number of active patients has also crossed 1 lakh 34 thousand. This is the first time after 5 months, that the number of patients undergoing treatment has increased. On February 24, 134235 active cases were registered.

Active cases in West Bengal have crossed 28 thousand,
the highest number of cases and deaths have occurred in West Bengal. In the last 24 hours, 3029 cases have been registered here and 5 people have died. There are 25,579 active cases in the state. The number of cured patients is 28,856 and the positivity rate has increased to 18.95%. On Wednesday, 2,979 cases were reported in West Bengal and the positivity rate was found to be 18.59%.

More than 2700 people recovered
in Tamil Nadu After West Bengal, Tamil Nadu has the highest number of cases. In the last 24 hours, 2,283 cases were registered here. Thankfully, not a single life was lost from Corona on Thursday.

There are 17,858 active cases in the state. The number of cured patients is 2,707 and the positivity rate has come down to 6.93%. On Wednesday, Tamil Nadu had 2,269 cases and the positivity rate was found to be 7.79%.

Positivity rate increased
in Himachal Pradesh On Thursday, 422 new corona patients were found in Himachal Pradesh and a 45-year-old woman from Chamba died. This is the highest number of cases in the last 6 months. The concern is about the positivity rate as it reached 11.32% on the son's day. The maximum number of 124 new patients have been found in Kangra district of the state. 69 new corona cases were found in Shimla and 67 in Chamba. After the recovery of 191 people, active cases in Himachal Pradesh have increased from 1580 to 1810 as compared to last Wednesday. So far 4126 people have died from Corona here.
